Transalpine Run 2009 – The Film
Here it is, the Gripmaster’s director’s cut of the Transalpine Run 2009.
Eight days, 500 runners, the Alps…. an epic undertaking which, at it’s fifth edition was
tackling the fabulous western route from Oberstdorf to Latsch again.
The day before the race, intimidating rainfalls threatened to spoil the party, but at the start,
the sun and blue sky greeted the anniversary event. And it would stay with us for most of the week!
Good for the 500 runners, but also good for the Gripmaster who did not have to waterproof his
Gripcam every morning that way… The cam still experienced its first serious crash on stage 2, but the bullet-proof Gripcam still delivered sharp images for the rest of the week and the broken-off microphone has since been repaired of course…
